Configuring Dial-Up Access

Click the Start Button and select Internet Explorer.  In Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, and select Internet Options.  From the Internet Options window, click the Connections tab and click the Setup button.

Then Complete the following series of screens.

Step 1 - Location Information  If this is not the first connection on the computer, skip to Step 3.  Otherwise, the following screen will appear.  Enter your area code into the What area code (or city code) are you in now? field.  Click the OK button.

Step 2 - Phone and Modem Options - In the Locations box, highlight "My Location" and click the OK button.

Step 3 - New Connection Wizard - Click Next.

Step 4 - Network Connection Type - Select the "Connect to the Internet" option. Click Next.

Step 5 - Getting Ready  - Select "Set up my connection manually" and Click Next
